About the Role
We are seeking a PACU Nurse to join our ambulatory surgery center. In this role, you will ensure safe and effective nursing care rendered postoperatively until the patient is dismissed from the facility. You will be a vital part of our center's legacy, employing nurses who actively contribute to the company's mission and vision. Your expertise will help us continue to provide a safe and comforting environment for our patients and their families, ensuring they meet all discharge criteria with dignity.

- check_circleDemonstrate proper airway management techniques for postoperative patients
- check_circleMonitor patient vital signs, temperature, and cardiac status according to policy
- check_circlePrepare patient care areas and ensure necessary equipment and supplies are available
- check_circleCheck dressings and operative sites, reporting abnormalities to the surgeon
- check_circleEnsure patients meet discharge criteria before dismissal from the facility
- check_circleInsert, maintain, and remove IV catheters and saline locks using proper technique
- check_circlePerform and document head-to-toe evaluations using approved scoring systems
Requirements
- verifiedAssociate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma or Higher degree in Nursing
- verified1+ years of nursing experience in a clinical setting
- verifiedActive RN license as required by state of employment
- verifiedBCLS Certification upon employment
- verifiedACLS required within 30-days of hire
- verifiedPALS if required by facility within 30-days of hire
Nice to Have
