As an Overnight Shift Leader, you will partner closely with the Program Coordinator to manage day-to-day operations at our Mason City location. This role is designed to provide operational leadership, ensuring safety, supervision, and high-quality care during the overnight hours. You will serve as a key support for the second shift, coaching and training new staff while directly covering client care needs.
The position operates on a rotating schedule of either 10 PM to 8 AM (Sunday through Wednesday) or Wednesday through Saturday. Your day-to-day involves fostering a therapeutic environment where clients can develop insight into their behaviors, learn to self-correct, and build adaptive skills. You will establish relationships based on trust and respect, ensuring that individualized treatment plans are followed and that basic client needs are met consistently.
Beyond direct care, you will supervise staff on the quality and timeliness of service provision and documentation. This includes meeting regularly with direct reports for formal supervision and maintaining accurate records. You will also play a vital role in program development and ensuring that all documentation is completed accurately and on time.
