About the Role

As a Diesel Mechanic at Interstate Waste Services, you will be the backbone of our fleet operations. You will perform inspection, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on heavy-duty diesel trucks and engines. Your day-to-day involves conducting preventive maintenance inspections (PMI), troubleshooting complex issues, and rebuilding major components to ensure our vehicles are always road-ready. You will work closely with the team to assist with service calls for breakdowns and maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate and OSHA standards.

Schedule

This position operates on an overnight schedule from Wednesday to Sunday, 6:00 PM to 5:00 AM.
