We primarily service Northern New Jersey, Southern New York State, and New York City, with a landfill located in Ohio where we also own and operate a state-of-the-art rail-served facility. About the Role

As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be the backbone of our fleet maintenance operations. You will perform inspection, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on heavy-duty diesel trucks and engines. Your day-to-day involves conducting preventive maintenance inspections (PMI), troubleshooting complex issues, and rebuilding major components to ensure accurate diagnosis and effective repairs.

You will work in a dynamic environment where safety is paramount. You are expected to perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures, maintain a clean and safe work area compliant with Corporate and OSHA standards, and assist with service calls for breakdowns. Additionally, you will utilize fleet maintenance software to document parts usage and repair times, ensuring accurate records for every vehicle serviced.

Schedule

This role operates on an overnight schedule from Wednesday to Sunday, 6:00 PM to 5:00 AM.
