Since 1958, United Counseling Service (UCS) has been dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to individuals and families in our community. As a proud affiliate of Vermont Care Partners—a statewide network of 16 non-profit community-based agencies—we deliver comprehensive mental health, substance use, and intellectual and developmental services across Vermont. Our team includes professionals from various fields working across 17 facilities throughout Bennington County.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProvide assessment and counseling to individuals and families with mental health and substance use problems
- check_circleCoordinate services and facilitate referrals with other agencies and providers
- check_circleDeliver mental health and substance use consultation to schools, agencies, and the community
- check_circleManage clinical case management and provide social support services to clients and families
- check_circleConduct specialized assessments and screenings such as psychological testing and substance use evaluations
- check_circleDevelop treatment plans and utilize evidence-based counseling theories including motivational interviewing
- check_circleMaintain timely and thorough clinical records, progress notes, and administrative documentation
- check_circleParticipate in administrative, clinical, and coordinative team meetings to problem-solve and coordinate services
Requirements
- verifiedMaster's degree in social work, psychology, rehabilitation counseling, psychiatric nursing, or related humans services field
- verifiedLicensed in VT or VT OPR license eligible and Rostered
