About the Team
The Division of Orthopaedic Trauma Surgery at Creighton University Medical Center and CHI Health is part of a vibrant, ACS-designated Level I Trauma Surgery program. We operate as an integrated, multispecialty system committed to achieving the highest outcomes for every procedure. Our team includes a highly ranked group of eight Trauma-Critical Care Surgeons working in close collaboration with the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery.
CHI Health has partnered with Creighton University School of Medicine, a prestigious institution grounded in strong Jesuit values of education, research, and service. Together, we are shaping a new future for academic health, serving as a trendsetting model where clinical care is deeply embedded in education and innovation. Our Academic Medical Center fosters a culture where academic and community physicians collaborate seamlessly.
We are currently establishing a new residency program led by Department Chair Dr. Ranjan Gupta, alongside a newly created Orthopaedic Center of Excellence. This environment offers a high procedure volume and excellent outcomes, providing a dynamic setting for clinical, surgical, research, and educational activities.
