The Orthopaedics Department at Cheshire Medical Center is a highly trained team comprising Orthopaedic Surgeons, Physician Assistants, Athletic Trainers, and flow staff. Together, we provide flow, history, education, and other services to optimize the clinic and deliver top-notch quality patient care. We are seeking a highly motivated Physician Assistant to join our Orthopaedics Department in Keene, NH. This position offers a fast-paced, collegial setting with exposure to a diverse work environment. The PA will be involved in all aspects of Orthopaedic patient care, working closely with the team to support the musculoskeletal needs of our community.
The majority of time will be spent in the outpatient clinic with a focus on sports medicine-related problems. However, the role also includes substantial time in the operating room assisting on surgery, as well as performing consults, procedures, and rounding in the inpatient unit and Emergency Department. Once taking call, this position offers a flexible work schedule with 32 hours of clinical time and 4 hours of administrative time per week. The weekday and weekend call component is 1:8 at full staff.
