About the Role
We are seeking an Oracle Cloud ERP Functional Architect to lead the functional aspects of a critical implementation and support initiative. This is a direct client position based in Washington, DC, requiring a hybrid work model with a strict requirement for in-person interviews and local candidates within the DMV area.
The role is designed for a seasoned professional with a broad business background and deep expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP. You will serve as the bridge between complex business requirements and robust technical solutions, managing the full lifecycle of financial modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, and Project Portfolio Management.
In this position, you will analyze current state processes, define future state recommendations, and lead key configuration workshops. Your day-to-day activities will involve identifying gaps, defining RICEW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows), and supporting testing efforts. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes and intellectual property, ensuring that business needs are aligned with best practices throughout the project.
