Oracle Cloud EPM Consultant

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer and Oracle Cloud EPM Consultant to serve as a critical technical lead within our enterprise solutions team. This role is designed for a highly skilled techno-functional expert who will drive the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise-scale Cloud EPM solutions. You will enable financial planning, forecasting, consolidation, reporting, and analytics by bridging the gap between complex business requirements and scalable technical architectures.

In this position, you will play a pivotal role in managing data extractions, loading, and reconciliation tasks while developing robust financial reports. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the Oracle EPM ecosystem, including EPBCS, Cost Allocations, Strategic Modeling, ARCS, FCCS, and ERP Integrations. You will be responsible for designing dimensional models, metadata structures, and security frameworks that align with finance requirements, ensuring accurate, timely, and automated financial close processes.

Day in the Life

Your work will involve designing and configuring Oracle Cloud EPM modules such as Planning (PBCS/EPBCS), Financial Consolidation and Close (FCCS), Account Reconciliation (ARCS), and Narrative Reporting. You will develop and maintain business rules, calculation scripts, and Groovy scripts to automate data loads, metadata refreshes, and close processes. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to building and supporting inbound/outbound integrations using Data Management (DM/FDMEE), REST APIs, EPM Automate, and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) to ensure smooth data flow between Oracle ERP Cloud, legacy GLs, and data warehouses.

Beyond development, you will lead production support activities, troubleshooting complex functional and technical issues, and managing upgrades, patch validations, and environment refreshes. You will also serve as a mentor to junior engineers and functional analysts, promoting best practices and a growth mindset. Collaboration with Finance, Accounting, FP&A, and external vendors will be essential to translate business needs into secure, high-performance applications.
