Baylor Scott & White Health is the largest not-for-profit healthcare system in Texas, dedicated to empowering individuals, families, and communities to live well. Our mission is grounded in four core values: serving faithfully with a joyful heart, never settling as we strive for better, supporting one another in our shared journey, and making an impact through initiative and exceptional experiences.
As an Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse within the Surgery Department at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, you will serve as a licensed professional coordinating patient care through the Baylor Scott & White Health (BSWH) nursing model. Your role is pivotal in ensuring the safe passage of patients through the healthcare system, utilizing the nursing process to assess needs, identify diagnoses, and implement individualized care plans.
You will work on a full-time day shift with a 30-minute on-call arrival requirement. In this capacity, you will foster a therapeutic environment that respects the unique diversity of every patient and family, integrating their culture, beliefs, and values into their care. Beyond clinical duties, you will act as an advocate for patient rights and autonomy, facilitate learning for the care team and community, and collaborate with colleagues to solve complex problems efficiently.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and specific experience with Da Vinci Xi robotics. Please ensure this robotics experience is explicitly highlighted in your CV or resume during the application process.
