About the Role

As a Security Officer at Hudson Regional Health, you play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our patients, visitors, and staff. You will be the first line of defense in protecting persons and property from harm, ensuring compliance with laws, policies, and regulatory requirements around the clock.

Your day will involve maintaining a secure environment across our four hospital campuses. You will conduct daily clock tours and security rounds to identify and report hazardous conditions or safety violations. As a visible presence, you will direct visitors, patients, and vendors to their correct locations, distribute passes, and monitor cameras and alarms from command posts. Additionally, you will investigate police-type incident reports and ensure all doors are secured after hours.

Hiring Process & Requirements

Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent and a valid NJ driver's license. A SORA license is preferred, as is relevant work experience in security, particularly within a hospital setting.

Please note that influenza vaccinations are a requirement for employment. If you are not currently vaccinated, you will be required to receive the vaccination prior to your hire date during the influenza season, unless you request and receive an approved medical exemption.
