Our client is seeking an Operations Supervisor to join a rapidly growing team. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this role is pivotal for the execution of all activities on the production floor. The ideal candidate brings prior leadership experience in warehousing, a deep understanding of proper procedures and policies, and proven skills in team development.
In this position, you will work alongside the operations manager and support teams to plan daily activities, ensuring that production methods and labor levels are optimized to meet service deliverables. Your day will involve supervising all operations personnel to maximize productivity, efficiency, and accuracy while maintaining strict safety protocols. You will be responsible for reviewing production schedules and work orders to prioritize the workforce, ensuring that all operating lines are properly set up at the beginning of each shift for efficient use of labor and time.
Beyond daily operations, you will play a key role in team growth by interviewing, hiring, and training new employees to ensure they adhere to established safety and performance standards. You will also ensure that all employees clearly understand their specific duties before each shift begins, fostering a culture of clarity and accountability.
