The Operations Supervisor assists in leading the team of front-line staff responsible for guiding guests through one of Whitewater Center's experiences or activities. This on-site, full-time position reports directly to the Manager and is critical to the success of our operations. The ability to train and coach staff, solve problems effectively, and think strategically are essential to thriving in this role.
You will be responsible for daily operations alongside other Supervisors, Assistant Managers, and Managers. Your day will involve managing an efficient operation with fiscal awareness, ensuring the proper execution of tasks, and optimizing resource utilization. A key part of your success will be leading and coaching a team of seasonal and full-time employees to maintain high safety standards and deliver an excellent guest experience.
This is an on-site position requiring you to work outdoors for sustained periods in all weather and environmental conditions. The role demands physical stamina, including the ability to lift and carry at least 75 pounds, bend, stand, lean, and kneel regularly, and safely self-transport over uneven terrain or in confined spaces. You will work in shared spaces with other employees and customers, with flexibility required to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and during special Whitewater events as needed.
