The Boys' Club of New York (BCNY), founded in 1876, is a youth development organization with the mission to empower boys and young men through outside-of-school programming at our clubhouses and our residential summer camp in Harriman State Park. BCNY's Harriman Base Camp's vision is to foster emotional, physical, and ethical growth through thoughtful and diverse activities and programs for boys and young men ages 10 through 17. BCNY campers will develop life skills and awareness of social responsibility through outdoor exploration and education. While appreciating their natural surroundings, they will become active stewards of the environment.
We are a COVID-19 proactive organization that follows applicable health and safety regulations to help protect our members and staff. The Operations Assistant will serve as a "jack of all trades" supporting program operations to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of clubhouse facilities during program hours. This role involves a variety of duties including youth group management, lesson implementation, supply distribution, program area supervision, member supervision, and visitor relations. You will be the face of the club, providing engaging tours to visitors, potential members, parents, and the community while maintaining a safe and positive environment for all.
Frontline employees are not required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19; however, BCNY strongly encourages all employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19 and obtain a booster shot.
