About the Role
This position is designed for a passionate Operating Room RN to join the North Texas Float Pool, providing flexible support across our Eastern region surgery centers, including the Surgery Center of Plano and McKinney Surgery Center. You will serve as a vital link in the surgical journey, ensuring safe and effective nursing care from the moment a patient enters the OR until they are transferred to recovery.
In this role, you will bring your expertise in both circulating and scrub capacities to an ambulatory surgery setting. Your day will involve orchestrating the flow of surgical procedures, anticipating the specific needs of surgeons, and facilitating efficient transitions between cases. You will be responsible for overseeing instrument and equipment setup, managing patient care and medication (including anesthesia assistance), and ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate in accordance with strict protocols.

Requirements
- verifiedGraduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
- verifiedMinimum 1 year of experience in an operating room setting
- verifiedActive RN license as required by state of employment or appropriate compact licensure

- verifiedPALS preferred or required at some facilities
- verifiedCNOR certification preferred
Nice to Have
PALS certification (preferred, though may be required at some facilities). CNOR certification preferred.
