About the Role
Jump-start your career as an Operating Room RN at Medical City Surgery Center of North Texas. This role is designed for a nurse who demonstrates our core values by caring like family. You will be an integral part of our ambulatory surgery center team, contributing your expertise in either the circulating or scrub role. - check_circleManage patient care and medication including assistance with anesthesia
- check_circleReview patient charts for completeness in accordance with documentation protocols
- check_circleUtilize appropriate body mechanics when moving patients to prevent injury
- check_circleCoordinate and oversee the room during surgical cases as the circulator
- check_circleFacilitate effective and efficient transitions between surgical procedures
Requirements
- verifiedGraduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
- verifiedMinimum 1 year of experience in an operating room setting
- verifiedActive RN license as required by state of employment or appropriate compact licensure
- verifiedValid BCLS Certification upon employment
- verifiedACLS as required by facility
- verifiedPALS preferred or required at some facilities
- verifiedCNOR certification preferred
