About the Role
The Registered Nurse - Operating Room position is based at the Mercy St. Louis Center for Performance Medicine Surgery, one of the largest surgery centers in the United States. This state-of-the-art facility features 10 operating rooms, 2 minor procedure rooms, and a cysto suite, equipped with the latest technology to support specialties including orthopedics, urology, plastics, neuro, and general surgery.
In this role, you will work in conjunction with the Clinical Supervisor to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. You will coordinate workflow efficiently, managing room setup, turnover, and supplies, while functioning in a staff role to provide relief for breaks and lunches. The position also involves assisting in the orientation of new coworkers and permanent team members.
