Methodist Ambulatory Surgery Center - North Central is located in the Stone Oak area of San Antonio. As an AAAHC-accredited center and a top revenue producer for Surgery Ventures powered by HCA Healthcare, we perform over 600 procedures monthly. About the Role
We are seeking an Operating Room Nurse to join our team and demonstrate our core value of "caring like family." This role is designed for a professional who is passionate about the patient experience and eager to jump-start their career in an ambulatory setting. You will serve as a vital member of the surgical team, contributing your expertise in either the circulating or scrub role to ensure safe and effective nursing care from the start of the procedure until the patient is transferred to recovery.
In this position, you will be the anchor of the operating room, overseeing instrument and equipment setup while anticipating the specific needs of surgeons. You will coordinate the flow of the room during cases, facilitating efficient transitions between surgical procedures. Your day will involve managing patient care and medications, assisting with anesthesia, and utilizing proper body mechanics to safely move patients. Additionally, you will ensure the integrity of the medical record by consistently reviewing charts for completeness in accordance with documentation protocols before and after procedures.

Requirements
