About the Role
This structured internship is designed to launch your career by immersing you in a variety of surgical specialties. Working under the guidance of experienced preceptors, you will assist with patient preparation, intraoperative care, and post-operative recovery. What to Expect
As an intern, you will be an integral part of the surgical team, collaborating with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and OR staff to ensure efficient case flow. Your day will involve maintaining sterile technique, monitoring patients, and documenting care in the EHR. You will also support room turnover and equipment safety, ensuring the operating room remains ready for every procedure. Beyond clinical duties, you will participate in orientation, skills labs, and ongoing clinical education to deepen your expertise in perioperative nursing fundamentals.
