About the Role
We are seeking an Operating Room Nurse who embodies our core value of "caring like family." This role is designed for professionals ready to support their unique calling in patient care while fitting their life with clear pathways for advancement. You will serve as a vital member of our team, contributing your expertise in either the circulating or scrub role to ensure safe and effective nursing care from the start of the procedure until the patient is transferred to recovery.
In this position, you will oversee instrument and equipment setup, utilizing preference cards to anticipate surgeon needs. You will coordinate room activities during cases, facilitate efficient transitions between procedures, and manage patient care and medication, including assistance with anesthesia. A key part of your day involves using appropriate body mechanics for patient transfers and rigorously reviewing charts for completeness in accordance with documentation protocols.
