The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Colorado School of Medicine is building a collaborative team of exceptional researchers to address critical scientific questions in reproductive sciences. Our long-term goal is to improve women's health by informing evidence-based medicine. We are a world-class, vibrant research enterprise with a collaborative and creative environment for scientific discovery and translational research.
We maintain a strong emphasis on teamwork, collaboration, and integration, aiming to eliminate barriers between basic scientists, clinical researchers, and physicians to achieve a seamless transition from bench to bedside. The department currently boasts an impressive research portfolio of $32M in existing federal and foundation grants and contracts, with a budget that increases annually. We occupy 15,000 sq ft of modern laboratory space and provide a full spectrum of clinical care for women of all ages, alongside excellence in education through our Residency, Fellowship, and Physiology/Reproductive Sciences graduate programs.
