We are seeking creative and energetic candidates for a Pre-Doc Specialist position within the Robotics Institute. This role leverages recent progress in machine learning and artificial intelligence to drive innovation in multimodal human behavior analysis. The team focuses on real-world applications, including Affective Computing and AI for Healthcare, such as pain measurement and monitoring mental health disorders.
The successful candidate will take primary responsibility for developing, implementing, and testing multimodal machine learning algorithms to analyze and recognize human behavior. This position offers a unique opportunity to work across all facets of a research project, from algorithm design to writing papers and mentoring students. You will collaborate with partners from multiple disciplines and institutions, applying deep learning networks to video classification and other human behavior modeling tasks.
