Eastern Carolina Veterinary Medical Center (ECVMC) is a fast-growing Emergency and Specialty provider in Wilmington, NC, part of Ethos Veterinary Health. As the premier network of over 140 specialty and emergency hospitals across North America, Ethos brings together a dedicated community of more than 1,500 specialized doctors providing care for nearly 2 million pets annually. We are currently expanding our services to include medical oncology and are looking to establish our founding team members.

About the Role

We are seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our outstanding Oncology team. In this new department, you will help patients receive the care they need when facing a life-altering cancer diagnosis. Your work will involve therapies including chemotherapy, surgical and radiation therapy recommendations, palliative care, and end-of-life care.

Cancer is often a diagnosis faced by families and individuals with pets. We are looking to develop a team capable of forming strong bonds with our patients and clients, requiring compassion and exceptional, consistent patient care. As a Medical Oncology technician, you will develop excellent venipuncture skills, maintain high attention to detail, and gain experience in chemotherapy treatments within a fast-paced work environment.
