About the Role

As a Custodian at Uplift Luna Preparatory, you play a vital role in creating and sustaining an environment where students and staff can thrive. Your nightly work ensures that our campus remains an environmentally safe, attractive, comfortable, and efficient place for learning and school activities.

Your day begins after the students leave, focusing on routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing restrooms. Beyond the nightly routine, you will assist with setting up the cafeteria for the next morning and perform essential maintenance duties, from unclogging drains to replacing light bulbs. You will also handle non-routine deep cleaning projects, including washing windows, pressure washing exteriors, and stripping and waxing floors. As a key member of the operations team, you are the first line of defense in maintaining the physical integrity of our school, reporting any major repairs or emergencies to the Operations Director.
