About the Role
Richland Animal Hospital is seeking a Medical Director to join a close-knit, experienced team that values compassionate, empathetic care and practical, high-quality medicine. This role is ideal for a veterinarian who thrives on the challenge of a wide variety of cases and patients. You will work alongside two full-time DVMs in a collaborative environment where the team supports you through both great days and challenging ones.
The position focuses on small animal general practice with occasional pocket pets, as well as drop-off, urgent care, and emergency cases during regular business hours. Notably, there is no on-call requirement, as a 24/7 emergency clinic is available in the area. The practice is currently growing and offers room to expand the team, making this an opportunity to help shape the future of a Gold-standard medicine practice.
The Team & Environment
You will be part of a supportive group of engaging, kind, and knowledgeable professionals. The clinic features three sparkling clean exam rooms, a large tech area, and boarding kennels. The surgical suite is fully stocked, and the practice utilizes advanced diagnostics including digital dental radiography, in-house labs, ultrasound, and digital radiography. The support team includes two licensed veterinary technicians (one of whom serves as the Hospital Manager), a full-time assistant, and two part-time assistants.
