As a Travel Oncology RN, you will deliver specialized care to patients facing cancer, serving as a vital link in their treatment journey. This role exists to provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing in diverse hospital settings, adapting quickly to new workflows and technologies at each assignment location. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including oncologists, hospitalists, and pharmacists—to ensure seamless care coordination.
Your day will involve administering chemotherapy and biotherapy, managing central venous access devices, and monitoring patients for treatment responses or emergencies. Beyond clinical duties, you will educate patients and families about diagnoses and symptom management, advocating for their comfort and dignity. This position offers the unique opportunity to work in various U.S. facilities, bringing your expertise to different communities while enjoying the flexibility of a travel assignment.
