About the Role

Ascension Seton is seeking an APRN or PA with Oncology Experience to provide medical services at our Infusion and Oncology Clinic in Austin, Texas. This employed position within a nonprofit health system offers the chance to join an established team of four physicians and several fellows in an outpatient setting.

In this role, you will deliver comprehensive clinical assessments for oncology patients receiving chemotherapy and biotherapy, actively managing side effects and modifying care plans to ensure safe treatment delivery. You will educate new patients and families on treatment regimens, empowering them with a clear understanding of their pathways and symptom management strategies. Additionally, you will serve as the primary point of contact for emergent lab and imaging results from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, leading rapid interventions for urgent clinical findings. You will collaborate within a multidisciplinary team of oncologists and nurses to proactively prevent, identify, and manage treatment-related complications, optimizing patient outcomes.
