About Sarah Cannon Research Institute
Sarah Cannon Research Institute (SCRI) is one of the world's leading oncology research organizations conducting community-based clinical trials. Focused on advancing therapies for patients over the last three decades, SCRI is a leader in drug development. In 2022, SCRI formed a joint venture with former US Oncology Research to expand clinical trial access across the country. It has conducted more than 850 first-in-human clinical trials since its inception and contributed to pivotal research that has led to the majority of new cancer therapies approved by the FDA in the past decade. Key Responsibilities
- check_circleUse the protocol as the primary tool to screen, treat, and follow patients
- check_circleSchedule follow-up appointments, scans, and related procedures according to protocol requirements
- check_circleInform and document SCRI and clinic personnel when a patient comes off the study
- check_circleAccurately calculate and document BSA, creatinine clearance, and urine protein:creatinine ratios
- check_circleComplete patient documentation at each clinic visit during the screening phase
- check_circleEnsure study subject protection by adhering to protocol requirements and compliance
- check_circleVerify medication approval by the registrar before initiating or changing treatment regimens
Requirements
- verifiedAssociate Degree; preferably Bachelor's Degree
- verifiedRN License
- verifiedKnowledge of medical and research terminology
- verifiedKnowledge of FDA Code of Federal Regulations and GCP
- verifiedKnowledge of clinical research processes
- verifiedAt least one year of oncology experience preferred
- verifiedAt least one year of experience in a research setting preferred
- verifiedResearch Certification (ACRP or CCRP) preferred
