About the Team
CHI Saint Joseph Medical Group is expanding its comprehensive oncology program across the state of Kentucky, with a strategic focus on the London and Corbin locations. The group is dedicated to providing high-quality, accessible, and cost-effective general oncology patient care. We leverage the latest in cancer-care technology, including indication-specific use of FDA-approved drugs and state-of-the-art linear accelerator-based radiation therapy. Our team also maintains strong partnerships with surgeons utilizing the da Vinci® Xi surgical system to ensure patients experience less pain and faster recovery times.
About the Role
We are seeking an Oncologist to join an established group and help build a program with a strong existing foundation alongside a brand-new cancer center. This position focuses on Hematology-Oncology; while an Oncology board certification is required, a Hematology board is not. The role involves providing care to an existing patient panel with little to no competition in the area and access to a large referral base.
The position offers a Monday-Friday schedule with no weekend obligations. The role includes 4 administrative hours per week and a 1:6 weekday call schedule (phone-only), with no weekend call. This is designed as a work/life balance position where you can work at a comfortable volume, though the opportunity exists to be very busy if desired. Additionally, an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) supports the clinic, managing benign hematology patients.
