We are the Environment & Planning Division at ICF. We are a global advisory and technology services provider, but we are not your typical consultants. We combine unmatched expertise with cutting-edge technology to help clients solve their most complex challenges, navigate change, and shape the future. Our team consists of planners, scientists, program managers, communicators, economists, technologists, and strategists who are collaborative, curious, and committed to excellence.
We are passionate about doing what's right for our clients, our people, the communities where we live and work, and the environment. We believe we can only solve the world's toughest challenges by building a workplace that allows everyone to thrive.
ICF seeks on-call field Archaeologists to assist with survey and excavation field work throughout the Southeastern United States. In this role, you will partner with senior archaeologists and historians to support critical environmental work. The position is ideal for those who recognize the importance of consistent procedures and protocols and possess excellent field skills, artifact analysis capabilities, and the ability to maintain detailed field notes and records.
Given the seasonal or project-specific nature of our environmental work, this is an "On-Call" position. On-Call employees are scheduled for work hours as they become available, typically a few weeks in advance. Each employee is free to accept or refuse the hours assigned to them in a given week. This flexibility allows you to work concurrent projects outside of your ICF assignment, provided there is no conflict of interest with your work for ICF.
At ICF, we are committed to ensuring a fair interview process for all candidates based on their own skills and knowledge. As part of this commitment, the use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools to generate or assist with responses during interviews (whether in-person or virtual) is not permitted. This policy is in place to maintain the integrity and authenticity of the interview process. However, if you require an accommodation that involves the use of AI, please contact us in advance at candidateaccommodation@icf.com.
ICF is an equal opportunity employer. Together, our employees are empowered to share their expertise and collaborate with others to achieve personal and professional goals. We will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
Reasonable accommodations are available, including but not limited to, for disabled veterans, individuals with disabilities, and individuals with sincerely held religious beliefs, in all phases of the application and employment process. To request an accommodation, please email candidateaccommodation@icf.com. All information you provide will be kept confidential and used only to the extent required to provide needed reasonable accommodations.
