About the Role
This physical warehouse position focuses on the critical final stages of furniture logistics. You will be responsible for unloading tractor-trailer loads of furniture and staging them for delivery. A key part of your day involves ensuring items are assembled according to manufacturer directions, bridging the gap between transport and the customer's home.
You will work as part of a team dedicated to Werner Final Mile Values, requiring effective communication and professional collaboration with coworkers. The role demands a continuous pattern of regular and prompt attendance, along with the flexibility to adapt to a changing schedule to meet daily offloading output goals.
Working Environment
The workspace requires a high level of physical engagement. You will be standing, walking, climbing, stooping, squatting, and kneeling for significant portions of the day. The job involves utilizing hand dollies and carts, as well as lifting items weighing between 50 and 80 pounds. Maintaining a clean and safe environment is a shared responsibility to ensure the safety of all team members.
