The Thixo Production Associate I is a vital member of the Production team in Loveland, responsible for the inspection and packaging of magnesium parts. This role ensures that every component meets strict quality standards before reaching the shipping or storage areas. You will work closely with the Manufacturing Manager and Lead Operators to maintain a safe, efficient, and organized production environment.
In this position, you will process manufactured parts according to job instructions, construct packing boxes, and visually inspect components for defects. A key part of your day involves maintaining accurate production records, tracking accepted and rejected items, and reporting data to the Daily Management Systems (DMS). You will also be responsible for keeping your workstation clean and organized following 5S standards, while safely lifting and moving materials up to 50 lbs. using pallet jacks and hand trucks.
This role operates on a night shift schedule from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Sunday through Thursday. The position requires standing for the entire 8+ hour shift and involves moderate physical demand, including frequent movement between waist and floor levels. Success in this role requires the ability to work in a team environment, perform basic math calculations, and maintain continuous mental and visual attention to product quality.
Candidates must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings. Proficiency in English, both verbal and written, is required for effective communication and documentation. While no prior experience is necessary, the ability to learn and independently run five workstation applications within six months is expected.
