About the Role
The OD Coordinator is the very face of our Exam Practice, dedicated to ensuring the best possible journey for every patient. This role guides the patient through the first steps of the Visionworks experience, ensuring their eye exam needs are met in a simple, human, and bold way.\n You will be trained and knowledgeable about eye health, preliminary testing, optics, products, services, and managed vision care. Your day involves introducing patients to the Optometrist (OD) with important background information, transitioning them from the doctor to the sales floor, and executing day-to-day operational activities to support the store's exam lane maintenance and patient experience goals. This includes restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, answering phones, and preparing technician work schedules to meet patient and doctor demand.
