As an Occupational Therapist, you will primarily provide outpatient rehabilitation services in an in-home setting for the older adult population. Whether in a patient's private residence or a room within an independent living facility, Powerback Rehabilitation To You allows you to evaluate and treat in the most functional environment possible. You will organize and conduct occupational therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation, directing patient participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance.
Your role involves facilitating the learning of skills essential for adaptation and productivity, aiming to diminish or correct pathology. You will work in a flexible schedule and environment, adapting programs and plans of care according to the unique needs of individual patients. You will collaborate with the rehabilitation team, including community physicians, to select the most appropriate therapeutic regimen. Above all, you will put patient service first, ensuring that patients and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere that recognizes individual needs and rights.
