About the Role
We are seeking an Acute Care Occupational Therapist to join our team on the day shift. In this position, you will work closely with our Acute Care Rehabilitation team to provide exceptional care to patients. You will assume responsibility for the management, delivery, documentation, outcomes, and communication of patient care, ensuring adherence to National Patient Safety Goals. Your role involves interpreting referrals, evaluating patients, and developing comprehensive plans of care that address physical, psychosocial, and safety needs. You will also coordinate care with other clinical team members and may have the opportunity to direct Occupational Therapy Assistants or serve as a clinical instructor for new employees and volunteers.

Requirements
- verifiedGraduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy
- verifiedCurrent Oklahoma Occupational Therapist license OR eligible for license
- verifiedCurrent BLS or CPR certification
- verifiedMust be able to communicate effectively in English (verbal/written)
- verifiedCurrent Drivers License from state of residence (for home evaluations)
- verified2 years of experience and aquatic experience preferred (Aquatics)
- verifiedCertified Hand Therapist preferred (Hand Therapy)
- verified2 years of experience preferred (Therapy Resource Pool)
- verified2 years of experience in inpatient rehabilitation preferred (Community Re-entry)
