As a Home Health Occupational Therapist, you will partner with the patient's physician and other health care team members to develop and revise Plans of Care. Your day will involve assessing patients' daily living and work-related skills, administering diagnostic tests, and providing therapeutic treatment to restore function. You will also consult with vocational team members, design community reintegration activities, and recommend adaptive equipment to improve client environments. A key part of your role involves supervising and instructing Occupational Therapy Assistants and Home Health Aides, while ensuring accurate documentation of all care observations and interventions.
