This position serves as a vital link in our continuum of care, assessing patients to develop and initiate comprehensive treatment plans based on physical, cognitive, perceptual, and developmental evaluations. The Occupational Therapist is responsible for maximizing client independence across the lifespan through direct patient care, ensuring that every treatment plan is tailored to individual needs.
Beyond clinical duties, this role involves mentoring the next generation of therapists by providing training and guidance to students, interns, and other staff. You will supervise assistants and rehabilitation technicians, ensuring high standards of care while fostering a collaborative environment with physicians, insurance companies, and professional colleagues. The role also offers opportunities to share expertise by presenting special topics at clinic meetings, grand rounds, and university settings.
