At Memorial Hermann, we pursue a common goal of delivering high-quality, efficient care while creating exceptional experiences for every member of our community. When we say every member of our community, that includes our employees. We know that when our employees feel cared for, heard, and valued, they are inspired to create moments that exceed expectations, while prioritizing safety, compassion, personalization, and efficiency.
If you want to advance your career and contribute to our vision of creating healthier communities, now and for generations to come, we want you to be a part of our team.
This position is designed for a professional who is passionate about maximizing patient independence across the continuum of life. You will assess patients and develop treatment plans based on comprehensive evaluations of physical, cognitive, perceptual, and developmental skills. Beyond direct patient care, you will play a vital role in the growth of our department by supervising assistants and rehabilitation technicians, and potentially serving as a clinical instructor for students and interns.
Your day will involve a blend of clinical expertise and community connection. You will interpret evaluation findings to create written plans of care, implement treatment programs, and monitor progress. A key part of your mission is to motivate and instruct patients and caregivers, ensuring they have the tools to succeed. You will also collaborate effectively with physicians, insurance companies, and professional colleagues to ensure cohesive care.
We are committed to providing safe, caring, personalized, and efficient experiences to patients and colleagues. As a member of our team, you will model our service standards and demonstrate a commitment to creating compassionate experiences for every patient you encounter. We support your individual professional growth by encouraging you to meet requirements for mandatory and continuing education, and by serving as a resource and mentor to less experienced staff.
Memorial Hermann is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background, race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, or veteran status.
