About the Role
As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in planning and administering medically prescribed treatments designed to enhance patient functioning and overall well-being. This position involves working closely with patients of various ages and conditions, applying therapeutic techniques to manage pain, support injury recovery, and improve physical strength. You will assess patient conditions to develop suitable therapy programs, implement plans focusing on mobility and functional recovery, and collaborate with physical therapy staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care. Additionally, you will be responsible for documenting patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed, and educating patients and their families about health status, safety, and ongoing treatment strategies.
