About the Role

This position serves as a vital link between employee well-being and operational safety within the Springville facility. As a key member of the health and safety team, you will be responsible for maintaining health awareness, managing medical-based programs, and coordinating the Workers' Compensation program. Your role ensures that the workplace remains a safe environment where employees can perform their duties with confidence.

In this capacity, you will act as the primary liaison for the company with local physicians, managing work-related injuries and illnesses while maintaining detailed medical files and documentation. You will proactively walk the production floor to identify and resolve health issues, coordinate health assessments with third parties, and collaborate with engineering to close safety gaps. Additionally, you will lead health training initiatives for management and the Emergency Response Team, ensuring certifications in CPR, AED, and First Aid are current and effective.

Your day-to-day impact extends to budget control for the Dispensary, preparing safety record interpretations, and administering employee health education programs. By modeling the Springville Compass in all activities, you will help cultivate a culture where safety, quality, and environmental stewardship are paramount.
