This is an academic faculty position within the Obstetrics and Gynecology department at St. Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado. As a member of the Residency Faculty, you will serve as a .8 FTE member, balancing full-scope clinical practice with a dedicated focus on resident education and scholarly activity.
Your clinical practice will encompass labor and delivery, gynecologic surgeries, emergency room care, and ambulatory care. You will participate in full OB/GYN call, including in-house coverage for labor and delivery and unassigned patients in the emergency department, typically consisting of two weeknight shifts and one 24-hour weekend shift per month.
Beyond clinical duties, you will provide teaching and mentorship to medical students and residents during all clinical activities. In partnership with the Program Director and institutional leadership, you will help shape the program's strategic direction, ensure compliance with ACGME requirements, and design effective curricula and evaluation processes. You will also coach learners in scholarly projects, including abstracts, case reports, and publications.
