About the Team

Unified Women's Healthcare of North Carolina is seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician to join their prestigious Women's Health Care Center in Asheville, NC. We are a compassionate group dedicated to a team approach to patient care, where every staff member is focused on making the patient experience individualized and meaningful. Our practice has been serving women in the Asheville metro area for over 40 years with an established reputation for excellence.

The practice consists of a 5-member physician team, including four full-scope OB/GYN physicians and one hospitalist, supported by an excellent support staff. As part of the Unified Women's Healthcare network—the largest physician-owned Ob-Gyn practice network in the nation with over 600 affiliated practices—we offer the stability of a large national company while ensuring that physician governance and clinical decision-making remain the exclusive domain of physicians. We advocate for our affiliates, providing the tools, training, and support needed to innovate and expand, allowing you to focus solely on the practice of medicine.

About the Role

This position offers a unique opportunity for both experienced physicians looking to take their careers to the next level and residents seeking a smooth transition to private practice with solid mentorship. You will join an established group where deliveries and GYN surgical procedures are performed at Memorial Mission Hospital, a facility featuring 24-hour anesthesia, high-risk maternal medicine services, a Level 3 NICU, and the da Vinci robotic system for specialized surgeries. Additionally, physicians perform many minimally invasive surgical procedures directly in the office.

You will work in a collaborative environment with a daily clinic patient census of 20. The role includes a manageable call schedule of one weekday and one weekend per month. This is an ideal setting for those who value a supportive team dynamic and the chance to practice in a community that blends the charm of small-town Appalachia with the vibrancy of a major cultural hub.
