The Department of OB/GYN within the Obstetrics & Gynecology Institute (OGI) at Cleveland Clinic is a nationally recognized academic program featuring a unique residency and multiple fellowships. Our primary maternity units at Fairview and Hillcrest Hospitals deliver 4,300–5,500 deliveries annually, providing Level IV maternal and Level III neonatal care. The Ob/Gyn Hospitalist is a critical component of our group practice model, serving as the team lead for the provider group within labor and delivery. This role oversees perinatal safety, managing the obstetric unit, participating in labor management and triage, and supporting the maternal-fetal medicine service. The Hospitalist provides consultation to midwifery and Family Medicine services and participates in gynecological coverage.
You will function within a highly integrated and supportive team comprising OB/GYN Specialists, Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialists, Certified Nurse Midwives, Nurse Practitioners, and Residents. The position balances clinical duties with academic responsibilities, including the supervision of OB/GYN Hospitalist Fellows, residents, and medical students, with the potential for a faculty appointment at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine.
