Sutter Davis Hospital serves as a small community hospital for Davis and the surrounding Yolo County area. Our OB/GYN team operates as an integrated unit, featuring one physician and one Certified Nurse Midwife working together to deliver continuous 24/7 coverage. We maintain a strong partnership with our local tertiary care facility, Sutter Sacramento Hospital, ensuring seamless access to Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists for consultations and high-risk maternal transfers.
We are seeking a Board-Certified/Eligible OB/GYN Hospitalist to join our dynamic team in Davis, CA. This role is ideal for a clinician passionate about high-quality, team-based obstetric and gynecologic care who thrives in a supportive environment.
In this position, you will manage births in partnership with Certified Nurse Midwives and lead OB/GYN triage, covering all GYN ED phone calls, consults, admissions, and emergent surgeries. You will perform necessary GYN procedures and surgeries to ensure smooth and timely inpatient care. The role offers a stable, predictable schedule with one OBGYN hospitalist on duty every shift, allowing for a positive work-life balance while caring for a Level I nursery capable of handling infants born at 35 weeks gestation and above.
