This role serves as an intermediate advanced support professional dedicated to assessing and educating clients on nutrition, general health, and related programs. Working under moderate supervision, the position focuses on delivering critical health services to the community, specifically within the framework of the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program.
The role exists to bridge the gap between clinical nutrition and community access. You will be the primary point of contact for WIC patients, responsible for developing personalized nutrition care plans and issuing essential food vouchers and breastfeeding supplies. Beyond WIC, the position extends to providing health education to relevant Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) clients, ensuring a comprehensive approach to public health support.
