This leadership position is designed to ensure the highest standards of clinical excellence and operational efficiency within our skilled nursing facility. You will serve as a vital link between clinical staff, administration, and the resident community, fostering an environment where patient safety and staff development thrive.
In this role, you will oversee clinical care and emergency responses while providing direct supervision to nursing staff during your assigned shifts. Your day will involve managing unit rounds at the beginning and end of shifts, evaluating new admissions, and ensuring strict compliance with company policies and NYS DOH regulations. You will also play a key role in the growth of our team by participating in the selection process, new hire orientation, coaching, and ongoing professional development for nursing personnel.
Beyond clinical oversight, you will be responsible for monitoring productivity, managing performance of direct and indirect reports, and ensuring appropriate staffing and resources to support departmental needs. You will act as the primary point of contact for resolving patient and resident family concerns, investigating issues, and communicating critical clinical events to ensure a seamless care experience.
Qualified candidates with a NYS RN License and at least two years of leadership experience in long-term care will be invited to discuss their background and vision for our facility.
