The Community Training Center operates within the Hospital and departmental framework to support clinical and non-clinical educational programs. The team is dedicated to fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement across all operational components.
This Registered Nurse position serves as a pivotal educational resource, assessing, planning, developing, and evaluating programs for diverse patient populations ranging from neonates to geriatrics. The role exists to bridge the gap between clinical practice and professional development, ensuring that staff are equipped with the latest evidence-based knowledge and skills.
In this capacity, you will act as a change agent and consultant, collaborating with stakeholders to design curricula that align with organizational strategic goals. Your day-to-day involves identifying practice gaps, implementing adult learning principles, and evaluating program outcomes to enhance the overall learning experience. You will also serve as a role model for professional practice, integrating ethics and leadership into every educational interaction while maintaining a proactive approach to patient safety.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing (or a related discipline) and possess at least three years of directly related experience. Essential credentials include an active RN license in New Mexico and current CPR/BLS certification. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo is highly valued.
