The Community Training Center operates within the Hospital and departmental framework to support operational components across a diverse patient population, including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The team is dedicated to fostering a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and evidence-based practice.
This position serves as a pivotal link between clinical operations and professional development. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating both clinical and non-clinical educational programs. The role requires a proactive approach to patient safety, encouraging staff to question current policies and identify environmental risks to ensure a secure care environment.
As a Nursing Professional Development (NPD) practitioner, you will act as a change agent and consultant. You will collaborate with stakeholders to identify practice gaps, analyze trends, and design instructional curricula that integrate research findings and adult learning principles. Your work will directly influence the quality of the learning experience, ensuring that educational goals align with the organization's strategic plan while maintaining high standards of ethics and professional integrity.
Candidates with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing (or a related discipline) and at least three years of directly related experience are encouraged to apply. Please note that bilingual proficiency in English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo is considered a valuable asset for this role.
