Day in the Life
As a member of a multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate closely with physicians, leadership, and colleagues to deliver comprehensive care. Your day involves assessing patients accurately based on their medical conditions, administering prescribed medications, and performing treatments that require technical and manual skills. You will also play a key role in patient education, formulating teaching plans that address identified learning needs for both patients and their families.
Beyond clinical duties, this role requires a keen focus on psychosocial needs, coordinating with social services to address hospital and post-discharge requirements. You will prioritize care effectively to promote patient safety and reduce the risk of harm, while also practicing cost-effective usage of supplies and resources. The position assumes a commitment to lifelong learning within the nursing profession.
Application Instructions
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited nursing program and possess a valid RN license. BLS certification is required within 14 days of hire. While one year of experience is minimum required, applicants with ACLS/PALS specialty certifications are preferred.
