This position provides direct and indirect patient care within an assigned care setting, serving as a vital link in the multidisciplinary team dedicated to enhancing patient outcomes. The role is built on a foundation of critical thinking, compassion, integrity, and respect, ensuring that every patient's autonomy, dignity, and rights are preserved while striving to restore health whenever possible.
In this capacity, you will collaborate closely with physicians, leadership, and colleagues to deliver high-quality care. Your day-to-day involves assessing patient conditions accurately, administering prescribed medications, and performing treatments that require technical and manual skills. Beyond clinical duties, you will prioritize patient safety, identify psychosocial needs for both patients and families, and facilitate communication with social services regarding hospital and post-discharge requirements.
We believe in a holistic approach to nursing that extends beyond medical procedures. This role emphasizes patient education, formulating teaching plans tailored to identified learning needs, and involving families in the care process. We also value cost-effective practices and the non-wasteful usage of supplies, ensuring that resources are utilized efficiently to support the best possible care environment.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program and possess a valid RN license. Additionally, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 14 days of hire.
